Welcome to our first Baby Classics Newsletter of 2009, bringing you news of some of the latest additions to our stock and a preview of items which will be available in coming months.

Winter seemed to arrive even earlier than usual in 2008, so our new winter coats, which arrived in September, have been selling rapidly. We have sold out of some sizes and colours in some styles, but still have plenty of coats to choose from, in a wide range of styles and colours, in sizes from birth to 12 years.

We know how difficult it can be to find really classic, good quality clothes for little boys, so we are delighted with the "Arthur" outfit from Ancar in Spain.

This country style outfit, like all garments from Ancar, is beautifully made and finished. It consists of breeches in a wool-mix herringbone tweed, worn with a long sleeved check shirt in 100% brushed cotton. Adjustable braces add the finishing touch.

"Arthur" is available in a wide range of sizes from 12 months to 6 years.

Like so many people I am fascinated by my family history and would love to find out more about my grandparents, my great grandparents and their families. Who were these people that I am descended from? How did they live ? I would love to be able to pass on to my children and grandchildren details of their family history. But all I had were some faded photographs,a few crumpled documents and a very few facts passed down from my parents, everything else was lost long before I became interested.
